We are looking to visit Chetumal, via San Pedro to Corozal via maya or tropic. Rent a car explore Organge walk, etal. We can't take a rental car over with out 3 days worth of insurance so we were going to rent a taxi to get us across the border, then explore Corozal. We'll then catch the boat back to San Pedro.

Any issues we should know about? How about recommendations for a taxi driver to take us from Chetumal to Corozal?

If you want to save some cash there's a bus leaving from the old market in Chetumal to the Corozal bus station once an hour or so. It costs around $2usd per person.
