I can't seem to find the old posts regarding the implementation of new fishing licenses. Does anyone know if in fact you need to purchase a lic now to fish? What about fly fishermen that wade in the water (not from a boat)?

I'm not a fisherperson so I was only paying half attention! Thanks!

There is a deep sea fishing tournament out of Cumcumber Marina this weekend (Thur- Sat) and friends of mine went to Fisheries and after much confusion they did end up with licenses. We were told Coastal Zone Management was issuing them so maybe they now have long line licenses! Will ask her tomorrow and maybe can be more clear for you but for now wouldn't worry about it.

I am also selling what I call a license to fish in the waters of Belize. For $50.00 I will personally sign the license which is written on recycled hemp.

If you ask the government if you owe them money the answer is always going to be yes yes.

No permits for fly fishing because it is catch and release for Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit.

Can ya smoke it?

When you pay the $50.00 you can do whayever you want with it.
