Who gives the best massage on the island and how much does it cost?

i asked a similar question last summer. do a search on the board to find it (see above right), as i dont remember the answers.

If a massage is what you want, you have to take a day and go to Maruba Jungle Spa on the mainland. A massage is about $65 US. Also have mud packs, honey scrubs, etc. Very exotic and worth it for the ambiance. There are day trips from the island for a set price (around $160) that includes transport, 2 treatments and lunch. Check it out. Won't be sorry.

You don't have to leave AC for a great massage. There are at least a couple of masseuses on the island and we paid $60 per massage incl. the taxi to haul the masseuse and equipment to our room. Check the search option and type in massage.

There is a fabulous masseuse who is working out of the Hotel right across from the airstrip (cant remember hotel name) The place is called Aqua Massage and the therapists's name is Lynn Graham. Just stop by and make an appointment, you can get in same day or next day usually. She charges $50 and hour, I pay a lot more here in Detroit. When she put the Enya CD on and I layed down, I had a hard time not crying as she released all that pent up tension and anxiety in me. I got one the best massages in my life, and I'm a massage junkie. BTW, she used to work at Maruba b4 gong out on her own.

Did I just read Michigan? A Michigan girl here, I'm sort of living in infamy right now though, you heard about the big fire in Wyandotte? That was my place and 12 other businesses that burned to the ground on Friday, the day b4 I was to ship my art and merchandise to Belize. Yes, I've always been impressed with your determination. I have faith in you. I will be on AC from June 9th to the 19th. Will you be there then? I'm still counting on a sarong. As for Fido's.... It's a date, but I'll buy the Belikin. It will be on me...

we just got back home from san pedro...what a great place...for a wonderful massage
try lindi at her place of business "la diosa". her business is about 1 mile north of victoria house on the west side of the street....a big blue house... i know she goes to some resorts too. $60 US and well worth every penny!!!!

I just returned from ambergris and had 2 massages from Lynne at the Sunbreeze hotel (across from the airstrip). She was wonderful and only charges $50/hour. I would recommend her!
