This is an event to raise money for the Liberty Orphanage in Ladyville Belize. The orphanage is broke. These children who are mainly abandoned or street kids, have faced all kinds of abuse and neglect. On top of that they have have nothing. They could not even afford to pay their electricity bill this month.
There will be a $15usd entry fee, but we want people to raise as much money as possible. Even if you cant make the event we will be taking donations.
You can send donations to our US office.

The run/walk will start at central park in San Pedro and end at Captain Morgans Retreat. Afterwards come enjoy live music on the beach. We will also have food and drinks available.

Okay, registration starts at 10am at Central Park. The organizer will collect the registration fee and/or donations at that time. There will be juice and muffins supplied during the registration process. The walk/run will begin at 11am and starts at the park and ends at Captain Morgan's resort.

Tons of people are attending, young and old, and even canines!

Registration is $30BZ. If can't walk maybe you would like to sponsor somebody. All proceeds go to the charity.

Burgers and hot dogs will be available for sale at Captain Morgan's and there will be a complimentary boat ride (don't know all details on this) to return you to town.

Liberty is indeed a great cause. I wish I could participate, but I have other commitments. I sincerely congratulate everyone who will be there as this is so important. Well done boys and girls (and pooches!).
