We'll be using Tropic Air Friday to fly to AC. Does anyone know the # of pieces of luggage and weight of each Tropic air allows. I have been unable to get a clear answer from the airlines via email. Any help is appreciated.

We flew Tropic Air with carry-on only that they stowed for us. We saw others with at least two large bags that they stowed. I didn't hear or see anyone questioning number of bags or weight so I assume that you'll have no problem. They are small aircaraft but seem very organized. Have fun.

We have had lots of luggage and large passengers on board. If they have any problems they use the people to distribute the weight. Relax - it's only a 15 min. flight! Have a great time.

Tropic Air flies Cessana Caravans, which are widely known in the aviation industry to be one of the most respected workhorsees in the air. That airplane can be packed with twice as many passengers and twice as much luggage as you'd think is possible, and still fly like a charm. They have an incredible safety record. I cant speak for the airline's baggage policies or the individual pilot's tolerance, but if they let you pack it heavy, dont be worried about the plane handling it. It can!
