When can we book a vacation and not have to worry about hurricane season...late november? December?
Don't want to get there and be blown away.

And you would be OK in December, and probably late November too.

I used to have the stats handy -- all except about 3 or 4 hurricanes over the past 80 years or so have come in September & October.

I figure the risky time for us in Belize is 15 Sept - 31 Oct.
The rest of the time we weather junkies just watch Florida get hammered.

But also expect quite high winds in Feb/Mar. Not remotely near hurricane strength, but still enough sometimes to prevent dive boats going outside the reef.

PJ you (as usual) are confusing weather conditions. The winds of spring have absolutely nothing to do with hurricanes. Perhaps your English upbringing is getting in the way of good judgment?
