I've seen conflicting answers out on the web, and couldn't find a thread here that answers my question. Are AC's electrical outlets the same as 3 prong US 110 outlets, or do we need adapters and/or converters??

Thanks all...

No adapters or converters needed. Not sure about 3 prong outlets, but I do know that every electrical device I have taken to Belize, there has been no problem (hairdryer, charger for camera, cell phone, etc.)

Excellent, thanks Laurie!

Didn't want to get there and have to get into loootz of trouble from my wife about not being able to dry her hair mad eek. Or better yet, have her fry her long blonde hair like I've know to have happen in Europe. Also didn't want to find I couldn't shave for a week. Aw what the heck, I'll just leave the electric razor at home grin

The other thing to check is where you're staying. Can't count the number of time hair dryers have been dragged down, only to find a nice one in the bathroom.

I don't know what the norm is in the States but you'll also quite often find 220v available. Usually some innovation will be needed to use it, but this can be useful for European visitors. Still 60Hz of course.

Just about all outlets are 3 prong (grounded)
