I've researched myself into information overload. Recently received an offer for a very reasonable rate at Mata Rocks. Anyone care to share the reality, good and bad. Thanks very much.

Mata Rocks is a small hotel on a very nice beach south of town. The staff are lovely and very helpful and the beach bar, The Squirrel's Nest, is brilliant. The pool is tiny and more for a quick dip and cool down than for swimming. There are lots of restaurants in the area and the free bicycles are an added bonus. It is about one and a half miles south of town. I do not work for Mata Rocks nor do I have any affiliation with them. I stayed there as a tourist on three occasions and since I've lived here family members have stayed there. They all really enjoyed their stay. I give it a thumbs up and reckon if you got a good deal, you won't regret it.
