Did I read somewhere that someone got bit by a turtle while snorkling?

I did in Feb, 2007. It was a loggerhead and I never did figure out why. My brother and others actually watched it. There may have been too many snorkelers around the area.

I got a large bruise on my hipbone and a decent story to tell.

We've had a couple of incidents lately just bruised but a big bad bruise. Its one in-particular turtle with an attitude. I don't understand why.

maybe they are just tired of being harrased, just like all of the other critters around here?

My guess would be mating!
He seems to be only biting women!

Maybe someone was trying to feed them marshmellows with their mouth.
