Sounds like you have to be married or a couple to enjoy Ambergris Caye. Everywhere I go, it seems I am out of luck to enjoy a vacation by myself.

Being single (and travelling alone?) I think you may want to stay in the hub of the action.

Eoj, trust me, you can have a good time in San Pedro! There will always be something going on. Whether you want to enjoy snorkeling, mainland tours, eating, chilling or the night life, SP will not dissapoint!

When we were there last year we stayed at a beach hotel, Ruby's, on the beach in town. There was a parade of young women walking on the beach all day and night. You should have no problem finding people your age.
