Ok...don't make fun of me for asking this question. We are staing at Agape House north of the cut. I wanted to know if we stay out late in San Pedro are we going to be able to get back home?

There are water taxis you can hire, if you are going to be out really late, I would try to arrange it ahead of time and ask where to find them, just in case they decide to go home and go to bed, which I've seen happen. When I worked at Journey's End I had guests call me and wake me up about 2:30 am one morning, they had gone to San Pedro to party and couldn't find a ride back to the resort. They wanted me to get out of bed, go find our boat captain, wake him up and have him fuel and drive the boat down to pick them up. Guess what I told them? They may still be looking for that ride back to the resort...

FYI - boats don't run if it is storming. You could get stuck if the weather turns.

I agree with Karen, make your plans with your water taxi person in advance!

We will also stay way north of San Pedro and in case we are out partying very late we will just rent a cheap room at Ruby's w/ shared bathroom for that night. Of course you would have to check in before you go party.

M...assume you already have reservations at the Agape House? If not, and you want to stay out late frequently during your stay, you might want to reconsider staying on the South side or closer in town. Lots of great places to stay!

Thanks for the idea to stay at ruby's. I would have never thought of that. Staci and I will probably stay there one night so that we can stay out really late.

Yes, we already have reservations for Agape House. We are coming down for our anniversary and wanted to get away from it all for a while. At this point, we are planning on going out in San Pedro Wednesday night only...gotta play the Chicken Drop Game. The rest of the time we are going to spend at our house and maybe a few bars north of the cut.

I really appreciate all of the advice and information. It has allowed us to get a real feel for what to expect as well as some ideas for a little adventure. I wish you all of the best and hope to see some of you while we're there...March 31 - April 7.
