Not saying your dog needs a passport, but certainly does need documentation. Keli (I Do Belize Weddings) may not be in BZ at the moment but probably monitors the board and can assist. Swanno may be able to help.

It is very important to have all documentation and the import permit ready in advance. I had one terrible experience once when I got to the airport and they would not let me depart even though I had every thing required. Print every correspondence with BAHA in Belize to present to the airlines in the states for departure.
