Next weekend, the AC Message Board will unite in San Antonio to celebrate Divingcowgirl's graduation from college (with an A average, by the way)!! Mr/Mrs KC Jayhawk will be down from Kansas City, KLCman from Maine, Leah Ann from California, as well as the Texas contingent (Mr/Mrs Bobber, Mr/Mrs Pugwash, Travelqueen, Chloe and rumors of Ernie). Much fun will be had, just as it is when we all meet in sunny San Pedro.

Even after almost four years on the message board and 5 trips to AC (#6 coming up in April), I am amazed at the impact this forum has had on so many lives. New friends, new adventures, great times, good deeds and wonderful memories . . . thank you, Marty!! We all owe you a debt of gratitude.

Yes and weather is supposed to be low to mid 60's and sun shiny - quite a difference from the weather in Houston today!

I can't wait to celebrate our graduate and have some drinks w/ fellow Belize fanatics! I'll be sure to take some pictures!

I'm gearing up now as we speak..... err.. type.... Trying to finish last min. work stuff and head out to my next to last class tonight.

ETA of the start of the Mayhem Misfits will be Mr. & Mrs. KC Jayahawk at 11:50 tomomrrow a.m. After that will be an assorted trickling in of the Belize luvn'... fun filled friends!

Thank you everyone for your well wishes and congratulations. I am honored (sorry Nova, no U..) that so many would come to see me walk the stage in SA. I know the economy is not all that grand, but for them to take the time and $$ to do so, well, I have to say.... It made me cry. I'm at a loss for words (hard to believe huh??) but I am thankful every day to God for my friends and family.

What a fun time! I'm so happy I got to be with Spurs to celebrate huge accomplishment! I couldn't be more proud to know her and happy to see her complete one of her life goals!

It was great seeing everyone else. It was lots of laughs and fun times the entire weekend.

No trip report from me, just some statements.

Spurs, it was a pleasure making your acquaintance. Our trains of thought were frequently on the same track. I hope our paths cross again, hopefully south of here. We wish you onward and upward, you deserve it.

Also got to meet Pug and his delightful wife, Jane. Very interesting and enjoyable people. Briefly met Ernie face to face, hey E, maybe more time the next time around.

We also immensely enjoyed our friends from before, Chloe, KC and Laura, KLC, LeahAnn, TQ. All of them as delightful as always.

Some friends and family of those above were also present. Meeting new people is fun.

Beer tends to make me really, really smart and really, really good looking. I learned that it worked the same for all of us. Saturday, we were the best looking, smartest bunch of cruisers on the RiverWalk.

(I love the St. Anthony! I have stayed there several times. The last time was with for an Condo Assn meeting, with people from Belize.) However, I do not remember any dancing on the bars on the Riverwalk!!!
But, thinking back, I do remember being with that same group in New Orleans.... some memory of smoking cigars, jello shots, and one homeowner sitting in the lap of an unsuspecting wheelchair bound fellow, and rubbing his bald head. (I know you lurk, so I won't say your name-- whispering "marion" :))

One thing unmentioned here about the festivities. After the ceremony, Spurs gave a very touching thank you to the people who had supported her. The young lady demonstrated a large heart, and a lot of CLASS, Bar dancing came later. Onward and upward, Spurs.
