To anyone interested in Ambergris Caye.

My name is Greg Ciola and my my family owns The Essene Way resort 3 miles north of San Pedro. We were able to stay in phone contact with our family until 3:30pm yesterday. There were quite a few people staying at the resort because the storm came up so fast it was physically impossible to get off the island. There is one member that I know of from the Fox team that was staying with us. At 3:30pm Sunday the conditions were severe but the cement structures were holding. Paul Ciola, Alvaro Guerero and Wayne Anderson are survivors. There are many woman and children under their care and if there was a place of safety these warriors would make sure everyone got there. Our thoughts and prayers are with everybody. After over 24 hours of being in the eye of the hurricane one can only imagine the destruction Ambergris Caye has experienced. Hi Greg I am Sharon Nickels, Beth's aunt here in Florida. I talked with her on Saturday night and at that time she said her windows were about to blow. they were seeking refuge in the bathroom. Susan, her sister, heard from them on Sunday afternoon and they were losing tiles on the roof and could not leave because of debris and wind. Saturday night she said that the water was over the wall and at the sidewalk just beyon the wall. My sister is a deputy sheriff here in Hillsborough county and she has other deputies who are ham radio operators working to find out the conditions and especially them. i will contact you at your mindspring address and let you know if I hear anything from her.

Greg, The person that was with you from Fox didn't happen to be RIEL PALEY did it? Or if you or anyone else have info about him please post it. Thanks Joe

There are Fox people who took refuge at the Essene Way but do not know their names nor how many. Annabelle and Clarence, owners of Capricorn are also at the Essene Way.

LATE BREAKING NEWS FROM FOX PEOPLE AT JOURNEY'S END
We just spoke to Tom Colamaria at Journey's End. He says they are all fine. By his count there are 10 people at Journey's End and 30 people at Sundiver, the other locations including Belize City, he is unaware of. The people with Tom has seen are:

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the best news we've heard since contact was broken with the island yesterday afternoon! Glad to hear Paul & Beth's family are O.K. What about everyone else at The Essene Way? Krista & Alvaro? Wayne? All the children? Clarence & Anabelle?
