Question on Belize Departure Tax.
We are coming down next Friday. The following week we will leave the Island for a 2 day trip (to go to Antigua Guatemala flying with Maya) then return back to Belize. 2 days later we leave Belize to come back to New York.
Will I have to pay 2 sets of Belize departure taxes since we will be leaving Belize twice or are there any rules of avoiding one of the departure taxes since it is only a short term of trip of 2 nights?

Visitors/tourists pay the Departure Tax every time they depart Belize.

You will also have to pay the Guatemalan exit tax, which I believe is still US$30 by international air.

Thanks, I realized I will have to pay the Guatemalan Tax I just wasn't sure about being hit twice for the Belize departure tax

Note to self: remember to drink 16 less Belikins than normal at BCs during the visit to pay for the extra Belize departure tax

Or just get deported (JK)
