BEL has a agenda for the planned power outages, a hidden agenda, but they lost it, because there computer went out of power.

Its great here, the whole year around we have comedy, even without TV.

My power was supposed to go off at 11am for one hour. It actually went off at 12:30pm for at least 1 1/2 hours. How can anyone plan for this?

Even the power failures are a failure ;-)

Perhaps future outages could be scheduled for the middle of the night to minimize disruption.

...just a thought.

But they'd get all tangled up with the unscheduled ones...

Based upon that I should be showered up (I'm on a well) and ready for work by 6am just to be sure...

Anyone know what was behind the outage this afternoon? We were out here from 1pm till almost 2:30. No announcement or warning.

Belize Electricity Limited advises its customers in San Pedro Town that the supply of electricity will be interrupted from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Areas to be affected: All of Pescador Drive, Elliot Sub Division and the San Pedrito Area. BEL apologizes for the inconvenience caused but this outage is necessary for the company to carry out maintenance works on the distribution system in the area.
