I've been trying to log on to this site for several weeks now with no success. I've even tried several different computers. I get the same problem. I get to the site. But the log in box is ALWAYS blank. There is now where to log in. Suggestions?

Sandshaker,
Followed your directions to the letter. Turned on two Java settings. Pushed "okay" and shut down the computer. Restarted and tried again as suggested. No luck. I'm still doing something wrong.... ??? I'm such a dope when it comes to computers.... Anything else I can try???

Anybody else got suggestions?

Neither one of them said "console". It said something else but I don't remember.... Something like JIT compiler and Java logging. I did get a little message at the bottom while logging on that said: JAVA loading. I thought for sure it was going to work....

I'd like to find out the trick also. Even on my whiz bang work computer, that can talk to toasters in Brazil, supported by some of the sharpest dudes in the biz, still can't get me logged in.

I've got one more "associate" out in CA that handles our commercial website. If he can't give me an answer, everything else is a figment of our imaginations. If I come up with anything helpful, I will definitely post it.

Thanks Bobber!!!
I really appreciate that. The chat is wonderful, and I'm so frustrated over it. I'll try anything your friend suggests.

How odd. He tried it with Netscape and got the same thing we're getting. Internet Explorer brings it up correctly. I just tried it with IE and it works, gets me the login line. Maybe it just doesn't like Netscape.

Well there you have it. I'm on Netscape. Bummer. Is there a way to correct it????? I really want to thank you for taking the time to dig into this. I've been totally perplexed. My computer at work gets to it just fine, but of course can't use that one.... It's IE. Hope this can be resolved.

Naturally, I had deleted IE from the home box also. Oh, well. I may just reload it for the purpose of getting into the chat room. All of you who seem to frequent this message board seem to be much more interesting than the general run of the mill public who would normally be found in chats. My God, you're like real, normal people, with real lives. Ooops, don't get me going on that. Cheers.

Well, next time around, there are a lot of things I would rather be than a white guy from Minnesota. Some things just aren't worth the hassle. If a San Pedrano could afford a vacation, where would they go? Alaska?

Well Done!
Thanks for solving the mystery. I knew there was a reason I didn't like Netscape....LOL

I better put a note on the page about this problem and a link to Microsoft to download Internet Explorer.

Thanks again!
