We'd like some recommendations for a full day of reef fishing and snorkeling. I found Gofish Belize - Abner Marin and wondered if anyone every used them. Any info is appreciated.

Also, does anyone on the island offer one or two day sailing trips on a catamaran?

Abby's a wonderful guide, probably in the top 3 of bonefish flyfishing guides on the island. For reef fishing, I'd check with your lodging to set you up. Not a catamaran, but check out raggamuffin on caye caulker for a 2-3 day trip.

I booked a trip through the Bottom Time Dive Shop last year. We used Luis and he was great. We caught tons and he prepared an amazing beach side lunch. We plan on using him again this year.

thats the last thing i would do, you pay quadruple and they just outsource to the local fishermen (from what ive seen with some of the places up by me). If you go to back street all the fisher dudes are back there all the time cleaning their catch. Pick a boat you like, one that preferably caught a lot of fish lol and see what they will take cash.

No. This is much closer to the worst thing to do. These people may not be Tour Guides and not have the correct licences, Insurance, training, safety gear etc etc. Most Hotels add nothing to to the price of a Tour so it generally isn't more expensive. If you want to negotiate a deal feel free to search out specialist Fishing Charters etc but don't just approach any one who has a boat.

PLEASE do not use A pick up guide .PLEASE ..they most of the time have horrendous small boats ,poor tackel . NO SKILL ..no first aid kit the list goes on And on .this is your special day do it safe and right ..How much LESS can they be then $195 us for half A day FOR A LICENCE GUIDE WITH SODA ,WATER GOOD TACKEL , THEY CLEAN YOUR FISH TO EAT LATTER ..You want A guide who does this day in day out with skills to show you A great time .. GOOD THINGS ARE NOT CHEAP CHEAP THINGS ARE NOT GOOD Your day should be A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE ,you come here to live the dream .Enjoy it..
