How much can you leave with? I've got a Diver buddy who likes rum?

I just got back from Las Vegas where I went to Rum Jungle at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Rum Jungle has hundreds of Rum from all over the world including one of my favorites from Austria called Stroh. However, they did not have "Barel One". I asked them why they didn't have it and they never even heard about it. Does Belize not export Rum or Belikin? Seems strange. They had tons of Rum from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and everywhere else in the world but not from Belize. Hmm!

i've come back with over a case stashed between clothes and dive bags. wrap everything good and it should make it. never been stopped at houston customs, just cruised thru sunburnt and smiling...

the baggage maulers at the home end of the trip broke one bottle only once, entire dive bag smelled like one barrel.
almost cried...

buy the liter size, alot better deal than the 750ml.

Thanks Garfish! Problem is you can only bring sooo much home with you, and it's hard to keep from your friends.. And re-supply eventually becomes an issue. I mean it's an expensive flight to buy 2 liters at the duty-free shop!!
