Hello! Been a very long time since I've posted...hope everyone is doing well!
I'm hoping someone could answer a question for me. There's a painting in El Divino (at least it was there a couple of years ago) and I'm wondering who the artist is that painted it. In this picture it's the one on the right and I believe the same artist painted the two smaller ones as well.
If they are the ones I am thinking of, the artist is Carolyn Carr. Most of the artwork at El Divino is by this very talented lady. She has a gallery at Banana Bank Lodge on the mainland, some of her pieces can be viewed online at Banana Bank's website.
Painting on the way far right of the photo - sure looks like Walter Castillo - the resolution of the photo is not so great but google Walter Castillo and see if he's the artist you seek.
Is it a sailboat scene in a harbor with interesting downward paint strokes? If so, this is one of my very favorite artists as well Can't recall his name at the moment.
Marcos used to live on the island but last I heard was in the US. I do have a bio for him somewhere so will try to find it. At Gecko Graphics we have some of his paintings under license to reproduce either on ceramic tile or as prints and greeting cards.
