I'm hoping someone has had some personal experience with the Sunbreeze hotel, which is just south of San Pedro. My local dive shop is offering packages to Belize staying at this hotel. I checked the website out, and the property looks good, but really doesn't tell me anything. So if anyone has stayed here or has seen it, please tell what your opinion is. I really appreciate it!

Tinab, I have personally stayed at Sunbreeze in June 2000 and February 2001. Sunbreeze has all my requirements in a place to stay in San Pedro. The location, restaurant/bar,
pool, White sand courtyard, verandas, Aqua Diver shop, and the wonderful staff that takes care of your needs, but do not infringe on you. The June trip I was on a package deal, like you are, and it was great, it was totally honored. Feb. trip I booked myself, by email and fax with Sunbreeze. Great place I will return again and again.

My first trip to San Pedro 10 years ago was a package Hotel/Dive to the sunbreeze ...Its still a great place to go..I prefer to make my own plans now and stay at a different (cheaper) place.. The package deals are a good way to go and not have to worry about all the details ..Have a fun time

I'm not sure when you will be traveling to AC, but I'll be there from 5/5 - 5/12. I'm booked at the SunBreeze (have never been to AC). It appears to have everything I'd want. The manager Julia is quite responsive to emails if you want to ask her questions. I'll gladly give you feedback when I return.

Big thumbs up on the Sunbreeze. Sure there are a few nicer places but none as convienient and all around comfortable as the Sunbreeze. Big rooms! Julia's a sweetheart! You can't go wrong. Ask the postcards I painted for them.

we just return from the sunbreeze and the staff could not have been better! THey all go out of their way to help you. The location of the hotel is ideal. Julia, the manager, is helpful and makes you feel at home. You will have a wonderful time!
