I thought they were making so much money from the cruise ships cave tubing tour that they decided not to deal with the headache of running a resort and focus on the cave tubing.

Since the cave tubing and tours are still running seems feasible

Wasn't specific, but I gathered the whole resort.

why is our business why something closes? All that matters if is if the business or resort is operating and if they are doing good business.
