Thinking of making a trip to AK in July. My daughter, while working on her MBA, did some ad work for an agency in NYC. She says it looked like a great place to stay and I was wondering if anyone had opinions on the place.

Very classy indeed. Priced accordingly.

They look real nice. Nice pool area, but no beach or dock. Close to all the action.

We had dinner at their restaurant - Red Ginger - the other evening which was superb. And a nice surprise was their Monday night special of half price wine when you buy by the bottle.

Real first class digs.The Red Ginger restaurant is world class!!!! Again prices are A little to the high side But worth it..Went there one thurs night ,they had a special, You throw special marked dice for a real deal discount you get 10% or 20% off or up to 30 % off .I tru and got 30% off this made it A great living the dream value on Thurs night..

Just stayed there during spring break.

Rooms are A+, pool / outside bar A+, service A+, dinning: food A- ambiance C (not located beach side / beach view), location C (love the proximity to town, hate being across the street from the fire and police station, dislike the lack of beach, dislike the very low end houses on each side of the resort with crying babies every night.)

We liked it but prefer Victoria House.

P.S. We are regular visitors / property owners on the island so we have stayed in many of the hotels / condos.
