Great idea but who is responsible for the Facebook Page and its content? Can they post anything? Last photo of a wrecked golf cart on the beach is a bit unseemly. Just curious.

just a cool observation: even tho we live thousands of miles from each other, elbert & i have 96 friends in common on facebook. 96. i think the 'net is endlessly fascinating!

Great idea but who is responsible for the Facebook Page and its content? Can they post anything? Last photo of a wrecked golf cart on the beach is a bit unseemly. Just curious. it appears to NOT be an official site, rather another of those "fun" things that people put up. Better than that "How I Lost 47lbs in One Week by Drinking Belikin and Gargling Peanut Butter" page, however.

Spot Burke is a wonderful, loving spotted dog who lives at Reef Village, is sort of the local ambasador of the north side of the island. He never forgets a face and gives the best kisses.

in addition to that, and people suggesting it to their SP friends, fb posts a notification as each of us on FB joins (ex: "peter jones became a fan of san pedro"), then all of our friends see it and only have to click a button to join too. like that old they tell two friends commercial. it can grow exponentially. pretty cool.
