Can anyone tell me what restrictions there are in bringing items back from Chetumal? Someone told me that if you do a one day trip you are not allowed to bring back any alcohol or meat. Can anyone confirm or deny that statement. Also, if you do spend the night what can you bring back? Does anyone have any suggestions for hotels that are located not too far from the water taxi? Thanks.
