Thanks klcman. still not entirely certain. Rogers and ESPN are certainly broadcasting World Cup matches live, but is that just US or the Canada feeds too? That's the question.

You still in PG Chris? Here in San Pedro on cable TV we get ESPN, Gol (English and Spanish) FSC (English and Spanish). Watched every single game in the last Euros and World Cup across the various stations. FSC uses the feed from Sky so you get Englsih commentators but analysis pre match, half time and at the end from Americans who usually have a token Brit Warren Barton, Robbie Mustoe, some dopey Irish dude and a really annoying Geordie who commentates on Gol English - I prefer the Spanish and don't speak it hes that annoying)

ESPN is broadcasting every game live on at least one of it's channels and websites.

Don't get cable here. we have satellite for TV and internet.
The TV is Starchoice West Coast Canada feed.
we get FSC Canada which is different from FSC USA. We don't get any European soccer on FSC, all that is on Setanta Canada which we do get.
We also get ESPN and rogers, both canadian feeds, but it is not clear whether they are carrying World Cup matches. Their US counterparts are however.
Given Rooneys bad ankle and lack of a goalkeeper to say nothing of hardly any automatic choices at any position, our interest may be somewhat academic.
Still,everyone wrote off Ramsey's "wingless wonders" in 1966, so who knows?
Knocked out by Germany on penalties in the quarter finals would seem a good bet based on history.
still we have the best manager of England since Sir Alfred, at least Capello understands to keep his mouth shut and let his players do the talking on the field. lets hope they "talk" a good game.
