In another tragic story, fifty-six year-old American national, Daniel Justin Costell was pronounced dead inside his home on Caye Caulker this morning. He had been living on the island since April fourth of this year and was due to return to the United States within two weeks to do a liver transplant. At around shortly after eleven a.m., Costell's friend Michael Ray Buchanan called for help indicating that his friend was unable to breathe and suffering from pain to the chest. By the time Doctor Osburn Moralez arrived at the home along with the police, he was dead. According to Sergeant Leslie Wade, officer commanding Caye Caulker police a preliminary inquiry into his death has so far ruled out the possibility of foul play. Shortly before three o'clock, this afternoon police transferred the body of Costell to the K.H.M.H. in Belize City where it awaits a post-mortem examination. Costell, who came to Belize in early April, was a guest at Raul's Guest House on the island.
