My wife and I are planning a trip to AC for next March (our ten year anniversary).

What is the weather like that time of year? Isn't it the end of the dry season. How about the winds in March?

March is pretty windy. I was there for 10 days this March and quite a few very breezy days. Sand blowing and dive boats cancelled. Divemasters said the wind was common during that time. I am not cancelling my trip there next March, but it is more windy than usual then.

I think May and June are some of the best months to visit.....but then again...even if you do absolutely nothing....."A bad day on Ambergris Caye is better than your best day in the States"....or a sharp stick in the eye.....LOL

Just my humble opinion

Was on AC March 1st-10th. I didn't think it was too terribly bad. I mean it was windy enough that I had to keep my hair put up at all times if I wanted to see where I was going. But by no means is it a chilly wind, I mean if we hadn't had it, it would have been quite warm.
