What are the options for getting from Placencia to Rotan via flights or boats? Thinking of adding a side trip to the annual February adventures!!

Water Taxi Between from Placencia and Puerto Cortes

The “D-Express” departs from the dock by the Shell gas station on Fridays at 9:30 am. There is a stop at Big Creek. Departure from Big Creek at 11:00 am. Arrives at Puerto Cortes, Honduras about 2:00 p.m.

Cost: BZ$110.00 (US$55.00) plus any exit fees.

Taca shows a flight from Belize City.
Maya shows Roatan on their list of destinations, but doesn't have a schedule. You better contact them to confirm.

Puerto Cortes is almost as far from Roatan as is Placencia.
