For those folks up in NYC, Boston etc - if you can mange to do so, come on down to Belize and COOL OFF.
These east coast US temps are horrible for the elderly and poor especially in urban areas where the concrete heats up beyond the already insanely hot air temp - this is not a nice thing for anybody.

I was just in Boston for the birth of a grandson. Thankfully our kids have central air for their two-week-old.

But my daughter and 20-month-old grandson in Berlin have been cooking without air either at home or work or daycare.
