Perfect - something fabulous to do in a dark sky since the power is out up this way.

Perfect timing! According to news articles the peak time here should be around 9pm. I just sent a text to all our boats out on charter and I'm hoping they can get some pictures.

Any idea whether best viewing is East or West?

klc, I'm guessing it may depend on where you are. I got the original peak time as 11pm in Toronto from CityTV news which is 9pm here.

Yep - went out, power was back on - light pollution from the neighbors pier ruined the view.
Perhaps these folks are from a part of the US where living in a Walmart parking lot is considered a good thing?
