coming to placencia in november, where is a good place to stay and eat?We would like to be in the middle of all the fun....!!!

Also, I liked D'Tatch restaurant, right on beach - good breakfasts and lunch.

Yoli's (spelling?) is at end of peninsula, a great place to hang out for drinks over the water - last November, they had live music on Sundays.

Barefoot Bar is fun, good drinks and food.

We've had great luck staying at Ranguana Lodge right on the beach, to either side is Sea Spray or Julia's Guesthouses which we've had friends and family stay at while traveling with us. Lots of good eats, we like Wende's, Detach, La Dolce Veche(sp) has some pretty good Italian, Seaside at The Tipsy Tuna for bar food with a view and really looking forward to trying the great new menu at Barefoot Bar. Can only hope you enjoy the Village as much as us. Travel well!!
