Thanx Bob, and I know Im getting old. Once, I would fall in at 05:00, run 5 miles, chow, 2 hours on the 'grinder', run 2 miles, PT for another hour, chow, PT, run some more, close combat, take a leak and pray I didnt attract any attention from the DI.

Today, I ran out to the mail box (raining) and damn near fainted !

Ernie, My dad was the DI. He explained to me how lucky I was that I had three minutes to Shave, Shower and Shit and since I didn't shave yet I had a whole extra minute to [#%!] around.

my navy boot camp DI told us the first day,, if any of you want out and feel like hoppin the fence, i suggest you don't jump that one.

Barn, there are stories/tales of that actually happened. Of course a DI would find them and keep them for several days just to have something new to play with/torment. Then tell the Navy he just found them.
