Hello everyone..my husband and I are looking to semi retire in belize...we are not ready to sit and chill(well at least not all of the time anyway)I have been racking my brain to come up with a business idea. Not anything to serious, just something to do, and have some fun. Maybe something a little crafty like making candles, soaps, jewellery????? I am a realtor and would like to dabble a little in that as well.Volunteer work will take up some of our time also. Any ideas from locals would be greatly appreciated

Sorry, if I'm being a smart ass, but if you want to retire here, those businesses, would definitely be hobbies...including the real estate...
Ask the locals.

Don't think too much about it at this time. Spend a few months here and something will come up. There are plenty of things for you to do here and you may come up with other ideas. Take your time.

I think you are not decided what your business will be. I suggest that you should observe the market first before starting. Then have a business continuity plan for the security of your business.
