Mangrove planning in conjunction with WWF climate change meeting 16th November.

The facilitators for the WWF climate change meeting have inquired about the possibility of coordinating planting of mangrove propagules as part of the day's activities for this forum. Planting at 2pm followed by the forum at 7pm.

Valentine from Coral will assist with the coordination, but is looking for suggestions for a site that would be appropriate and has asked if a group of volunteers is willing to do the planting. The site would have to be a shallow area with little wave action but considered vulnerable to erosion. Maybe even a mangrove depleted area.

Please forward your site suggestions and names if you are interesting in participating.

Good for you Elbert. I volunteered the beach between the Palapa Bar and Ak Bol.
