Two Belizeans students distinguished themselves in regional exams this year. Dorien Villafranco, a student of St. Johnís College, was named the Most Outstanding Candidate in the Caribbean for his performance in the 2010 CSEC Examinations that were sat in May while Rodyn Gilharry of Corozal Junior College was the Most Outstanding Candidate in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations or CAPE Exams. Villafranco and Gilharry will receive the mark of distinction for garnering the highest grades and a host of other top performers in this yearís CSEC and CAPE exams will be honored on Thursday by the CXC National Committee of Belize. Gilharry is also expected to receive the Belize Scholarship for 2010.
