Hello.
Can someone tell me how much it costs to take things to the dump on Caye Caulker?. Are there some locals who provide this service; And if so who would you recommend. Is the dump open everyday and what are the hours. Will the dump take old fridges, washing machines and assorted other rusty crap.

Dump takes everything-Nearly every cart and truck hauls on the side. If someone goes past your house a lot, that person might be the most reliable as a result. Dollar a bag is about right. Three to five for your nasty barrel of trash you have been saving.
They pay to go in the dump so carrying just your bag is not profitable
Paying someone is better than going yourself because:
-They need the job
-the dump is not healthy or picturesque
-it is a good place to get a juke in your tire or foot.
