Thanks all for the input! We've checked out all the suggestions but are still leaning toward Casa REdonda. An oceanfront private villa with private pool is a must....no shared units or resorts. Plus it has a Jacuzzi. We hope to get something secured soon, once we make a final decision on the place. will have lots more questions about Belize after that! Anyone know what departure tax is, and best golf cart company?

Departure tax is $39.25 and is normally included in your airline ticket unless you fly with American. My favorite cart companies are Carts Belize and Cholos. I use them both regularly.

Casa Redondo is in a great area. You're going to love it!
