We're heading out to AC for our honeymoon on the 5th (just got to make it through the wedding! We're trying to plan out our time there, or at least get a general idea of what we must do/should do/could do. So what do you think? We'd love to hear what kind of activities, trips, food, etc. a relatively youngish honeymooning couple should be sure to do during their week in paradise. Thank you!

Mazeltoff to the newlyweds!
North of the cut feels more romantic to me; water taxi , bike or golfcart to get there.

Our most romantic spot was Capricorn, --Felt like old world charm--at least have a drink or lunch there[ probably<$50 us with 1 drink each]
Sweet Basil also is much admired, especially for oeneophiles[no, it is not a perversion]
The Palapa feels like an End of the Earth oasis. You can "tempt" fate by visiting Captain Morgan's where that grisly TV show was filmed. Have a beer [or 6] and some ceviche, use the pool and take the taxi of cart home.
To mingle try The Winnie Estele snorkle trip.

Bring or buy a cooler to keep Dr. Pepper cold.

Must do's in AC...
1. Fido's..any night for drinks and Barefoot Skinny...
2. Thursdays latenight...Jaguar Club!! A Blast!!!
3. Snorkel Hol Chan/ Shark Ray..a must
4. As a treat..find one of the boat drivers and have them drop you off with a picnic lunch on one of the deserted islands...tell them to come back in 4-5 hours..you figure the rest out... :-) Give them a tip before hand...hehe
5. Sit at Canibals...have a afternoon drink and watch all the people go by, good shrimp too..Holidays is also good for meeting people...
6. Eat at Jambel Jerk Pit and dance on the roof under the stars...
7. Take the Cruise to Caye Caulker, and snorkel...
There are so many other things I can't think of right now....be sure to take the time to meet the locals..you'll be amazed..they are truly the nicest folks I've EVER met...
Good Luck..Best Wishes on the Wedding!!
Life May Be a Beach...I prefer Reefs...

My fiance and I are planning a sunset cruise one night.
Sounds like fun.
There's a trip report by a honeymoon couple, can't remember the name, but you might get some ideas from that.
