I traveled to Belize about a year and a half ago to interview for a helicopter pilot position. I was offered the position but the Peterson's seemed to have just vanished. Do you guys know of any other helicopter jobs on the island? I got the island fever.

There are no helicopter jobs available on the island. But there might be some tile laying jobs soon.

I have only laid tile in my house here in Utah. THey would probably fire me in secs I wonder if the island could support a small tour helicopter for 10 minute tours of the island.

If you bought your own R 44, there is currently a hangar for sale and I do think you could make a living on the island with it. You never said what kind of chopper you are profecient in.

It is funny you mention that.I own an R44 and have about 600hrs in one. I have heard that it is tough getting an aircraft in the country. I thought a tour business would be good there.
