The University of Belize will host its seventh annual Opportunities fair tomorrow at their Central Campus in Belmopan. Selwyn King is the Public Relations officer who told us more.

"What we are doing, we are providing a platform that will provide students with conveyance of information in relation to financial aid, Scholarship and careers that will enable them compliment and contribute in their decision making in respect to their future and their career, we have quite a number of organizations that will be on hand. The students will have the opportunity to engage directly with these organizations, we have the Ministry of Organization, Youth and Foreign Affairs, we have Development Finance Corporation, Social Security Board, Scotia Bank, Belize Defence Force, as well as Embassy of Mexico, Republic of China, Taiwan, United States of America, the Embassy of Venezuela. So we have quite an opportunity for students whereby they will be able to meet with Representatives and Officials of the Respective Organization and Embassies to learn more in terms of Career development opportunities, learn more about the Scholarship Programs, learn more in terms of how do I make decisions with respect to financial aid."        

The fair is free and is being held under the theme ‘Making Opportunities Visible’. All students are invited to attend.
