does anyone else on btl have issues doing mysql connections? Im trying to do updates to my database on a server in the states and i keep losing connection to it.

on vpn im fine... i just cant imagine the reasoning btl would block that. hopeing its something im doing wrong.

I use PostgreSQL all the time without a problem and no VPN. I can't talk tech speak but I can tell you the use/interfaces etc if it helps.

I also get timeouts (packet loss) on my MySQL Servers since a few weeks. VPN and a proper configured firewall helps most of the time, but the VPN reduces the speed by 15-20%.
