Anyone know if there is a BEL power outage tomorrow, what time, what areas, and how long if there is one?

Belize Electricity Limited advises its customers in San Pedro Town that the supply of electricity will be temporarily interrupted from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

Areas to be affected: All of Pescador Drive, Coconut Drive, Almond Street, Elliott Subdivision, San Marcos, San Pedrito, DFC Subdivision and San Pablo Area.

BEL apologizes for the inconvenience caused but this outage is necessary for the company to facilitate system improvement works on the distribution system in the area.

Is the power outage postponed again?

Yes would be nice to know...........

In town, it's only from middle street to backstreet and it goes from the RC school to greenhouse or further....I think. None of te businesses on front street or beachfront lost power though.

What a great day power all day,we had plan B ready.This power company is damn good for the Caribbean,Fortis Parent comp. rocks.

Sounds like you were probably not in the designated area for the outage. I went to about 10 different businesses within that area and they were all without electricity. Even the BEL office was pitch black. I dont think anyone was immune to it.
