The Paradise Theater was packed to capacity on Friday night, March 25th. With lines at the door, music enthusiasts waited for the box office to open to get their tickets. With the doors and bar opening at 7:00pm, attendees had time to mingle and enjoy the artwork displayed in the lobby by various artists while sipping wine or their favorite cocktail. They came out dressed for the occasion, and although the event was not necessarily a black tie one, most of the crowd was dressed to impress.

Promptly at 8:00pm, Sean caught the crowd's attention as he came on stage and began serenading. With tunes from well known artists such as Frank Sinatra (It's Not Unusual and Luck be a Lady), Josh Groban (You Raise Me Up), Music of the Night - from well known broad-way production Phantom of the Opera and many more, the audience was delighted. McDermott was joined by performers James Anest and Kara Shaw who added to the variety of the presentation. The crowd was kept well entertained and at some points even sang along.

Initially, a portion of the proceeds from the concert were to go to the Mama Vilma Family Home (MVFH); however, during the intermission, Mr. Corry McDermott announced that all of the proceeds from the concert would be donated to the MVFH along with a personal donation by himself and Sean.

Representatives from the MVFH were presented with a check for $12,000 and following the presentation a heartfelt acceptance was given by Eve Dernback, Shelly Huber and Sheryl Bowen. Special thanks were given to Dulce Wolfe for floral arrangements, Wine de Vine for providing the wine that was sold at the bar, Pam, Austin and Jeff Pierce, the caterers, Sari Frank, Corry McDermott many others and all who attended.

A silent auction and after concert party to benefit MVFH was also organized by Reef Village. The total proceeds from this part of the fundraising effort will be announced at a later date.
