Anyone know where I can get a copy of the following Act which was passed in Belize?
Caribbean Community(Free Movement of Skilled Persons) Act,1999, No.45

Its a CARICOM agreement

It's legislation that was enacted in Belize. I would like to know exactly what the Belizian legislation says. Caricom has a suggested version, but different countries do have some differences from the suggested version. I can find the Jamaican law online, and I think I came across the Trinidad & Tobago act, but I can't find online the Belizian act which was passed.

I believe that most of these acts are online at a gov.bz website. I am not sure the exact web address but if you play a bit, it should pop up. I download acts all the time

Its CARICOM law, but different rules apply to LDN's (less developed nations), which Belize is and Trinidad isn't.

This particular Act is an Act that was passed in Belize. Caricom can pass all the laws they want, but each Caricom country has to agree to them locally.

Calm down Howard. Your condescending tone is totally unwarranted. Everyone who responded to you here is well versed in all things Belizean, and most live there.

Ahem... klcman, please read over your response. Now that sounds condescending to me. I have made no statements in any of my posts judging anyone's competence or knowledge, need for calm, or tone. I certainly could be wrong, but don't you think you are setting yourself up as superior to judge my need for calm and my supposedly "condescending tone"?

My apologies to any who see disagreement on a point, or me trying to make it clear that what I am looking for is not a CARICOM law, but rather the Belize government's enaction of a CARICOM law, as an indication of me trying to adopt an air of superiority or lacking calm. CARICOM laws are signed by member states, but then they have to be ratified and enacted by local law of the member states. I am sure I know very little about Belize compared to all of you, and I have sincerely appreciated all who have tried to help me locate an online copy of the Act. While I have never been to Belize, I am a CARICOM citizen and do know a little bit about CARICOM law and how CARICOM laws are enacted by local governments. In short, I do know what I am trying to find. I just don't know where to find it... but I am deeply thankful to all who have taken the time to post responses trying to help me locate what I am looking for.
