Well we at Ambergris Brewing had another setback today. After receiving our clearance letters from the Bureau of Standards and Department of the Enviroment Customs has now refused to issue us the permit........again. Can anyone guess what their reason was?
Releasing the permit would "open the floodgates on similar and other unique business ventures". Would have been nice to know before we imported all of the equipment that we would have an even longer fight on our hands. Now we are set up and ready to go. We aren't taking no for an answer. Anyone know a good cheap attorney?
Do you really want to fight the Bowen & Bowen monopoly? They have very deep pockets. This is why we don't have a Pepsi distributorship. It really isnt the government you will be fighting.
I ask Bowen himself about this when he was alive since that is where you must start, as Gwen noted. He said "bring me some beer for a sample and lets talk about whether you plan to sell it in bottles"
