I'm looking for a used mini fridge or cooler -- however, it doesn't have to work anymore, as long as the seal is intact. I have a bunch of old tapes which are fragile and highly susceptible to fungus, so I just want a somewhere to keep them to protect them from the humidity and sea air (and a small space like that could be kept relatively dry with desiccant).

We did the same thing but just made a small box out of plywood and put a very small wattage bulb inside. Kept everything bone dry and OK. Worked well for our special video tapes as well
