This is not an "amendment" to the Constitution, it effectively overturns it. Ignore what the PM has said by way of explanation, just read the Act itself. This will enable them to further corruption on a scale never previously considered. It is a dreadfully retrograde step.

But note also that once it is passed, whichever party that comes to power will be able to take advantage of it. I don't have a high view of the Courts in Belize, but this is really their deathknell.
