Trying to convince my group, who are quickly getting acclimated to slowed down Island time, that a trip to the north (in this heat) would be worth it. Just to get them them to be a little adventurous (hard to when you have private dock leading one to beautiful waters). Thought we would journey over bridge and something might feel different than where we are but they are all hesitating cause they are not sure after a long bumpy ride, how different it would be. They are spoiled now by Hol Chan but someone here said snorkeling under Rojo lounge is pretty great. Any opinions of whether or not it would be more of the same, in which case we can just sit out in this spectacular front yard?

Rojo dock is very nice , but on the way in this morning I passed two golf carts abandoned in the road as the muddy ruts and bumps after you pass Journeys End are just too deep and too muddy.
Mexico Rocks snorkelling trips are getting much better reviews from visitors because of the lack of crowd like Hol Chan. almost all the shops in town sell a trip to mexico rocks for snorkellers daily departures for about 35.usd.

Don't forget though that Rojo is somewhat closed until at least Sept 12, not a reason not to go and check it out though (is the bar still open?)... check out their page here
