We will need to buy 3 bicycles when we get move there in a few weeks? Is the best place to buy them on the island or make a trip into Belize city?

Castillo's. Have them grease them up for you.

A trip to BC costs about as much as you might save in the purchase.

I just got 2 new tires at Castillos. Bought bike at Harmouch because they are the only ones I saw that carried high handle bar bikes.

Unfortunately it looks like they do not have them anymore - looking for a replacement, if anyone sees them for sale around town or on mainland.

Check with Joe at Joe's Bike Rental. We buy from him every year. He always gets what we need from Belize City.

Joe is an awesome guy! He'll also do longer-term rentals if you don't want to buy but just rent a bike for a few weeks.

Joe is GREAT,
sometimes during slow season the bikes could use some love.Understandable, he is very reasonable,you should
check tires and chain ect.Once we get into season he is able to replace and upgrade.My friends had a snag with a bike they rented and he fixed it quickly and was very apologetic.
